I need to get a mouse so I can evaluate the Q3 experience fully as I'm utterly useless on a controller.

The speed would be 33k regardless of your modem region. It's limited to the upload speed of the USB modem which is 33k.

DELL can't send data faster that 33.6k
PAL and NTSC modems have same speed

in next month i'm share schematic and firmware for my new adapter (PS1/PS2 , Saturn, MegaDrive controllers and PS/2 mouse/keyboard to DC)
