Hey, im a dreamcast supporter since "evil twin" was 10 bucks sealed, so pssstDakangel wrote:What a hypocritical way of thinking, that is why people should not create false illusions that it is super easy to port the games, those who deliberately spread news that there will be ports of all the atomiswave games do not know the hard work is behind to perform that feat, users only come to ask for more games and do not offer any help, they only cry because something that was only shown as experimental does not work as they want.Lembow26 wrote:Ok, if a cdi release will not happen, than this whole atomiswave thing is totally uninteresting. My dreamcast stays 100 percent real, and if it dies ill buy another original one. The modding is not the real thing.
Again thank youbut im totally out now. Have fun with the upcoming releases.
Yeah. I tried 2 different SDs and no luck, So I guess is an incompatibility with the latest FW of GDEMU.seadart wrote:I am having a similar problem. I just getting "Unsupported Disk/Empty Folder" on GDmenu and pressing "A" makes it go to the system menu. Strange thing is GDemu_SD maker reads the game fine as Metal Slug 6. This was on my legit GDemu and I may try my clone GDemu to see if the GDI works on it.serge85 wrote:Anyone having problems loading the latest version with GDEMU?
I have a GDEMU with firmware 5.20.3 (the one that fixed RE:CV) and the latest gdi, appears in the menu, but it doesn't play it. (In fact, the MS6 Artwork, doesn't show in the menu) and when I hit start, it goes straight to the DC bios menu.
It works fine with the old version.
Damn, why ruin it? Let it come as a surprise out of the blue. It feels more rewarding then to get it randomly! I sure in the hell don't want to know what game it is before it comes! This is like Christmas early! Just let it happen naturally and give him a huge thanks when he releases the next game.dxen1 wrote:Which one is it? plsmegavolt85 wrote:as far as I know, one member of this forum is engaged in the creation of CDI and may also focus on other ports
I will not call his nickname, I think he will tell you everything when the time comes
I'm focusing on the next port, which is 50% ready
What a ridiculous argument. You will burn a disc, and be fine that way, but not get mad that it is labeled with a sharpie and not on a GDRom? Get outta here haha. You can't pick and choose, it is one or the other. You want original you don't use backups on .CDI format hahaha!Dakangel wrote:What a hypocritical way of thinking, that is why people should not create false illusions that it is super easy to port the games, those who deliberately spread news that there will be ports of all the atomiswave games do not know the hard work is behind to perform that feat, users only come to ask for more games and do not offer any help, they only cry because something that was only shown as experimental does not work as they want.Lembow26 wrote:Ok, if a cdi release will not happen, than this whole atomiswave thing is totally uninteresting. GDEMU isn't even an intrusive mod. It literally is plug and play haha. Who doesn't like a nice modern menu with full game list to choose from with nice box art? You are still playing from a Dreamcast, so I fail to see the point getting all upset that this man who made miracles happen, isn't able to do the absolute impossible and run from .cdi due to hardware limitations on stock systems. Transfer speeds on ODE's and the IDE HDD mod are just far superior for this sort of thing, and since the original Atomiswave system was cart based, transfer speeds are very important here.
I mean, it is not even like GDEmu's are expensive and hard to get, just get a spare system for it and get over it. Just use that system exclusively for the Atomiswave games. If anything, you paying $30 per stack of CDR's over time is like throwing money away, use the cash on a $50 GDEMU clone and reap all the benefits. Even megavolt created Bleemshell, a menu exclusively for GDEMU that improves the controls for Bleem beta games, and potentially will add in support for the 3 official Bleem discs too with the ability to choose them as emulation cores for running other games for higher compatibility with PSX games on the system. It literally doens't work with the other ODE solutions.
LOL this whole OG crap sounds so pretentious and ridiculous.Lembow26 wrote:"Just use that system exclusively for the Atomiswave games"... no, i wonti can see why people would do that, but i stay with the og stuff. If the og cant run the new games, than it stays a modders thing - simple facts. There is nothing wrong about it. Enjoy the new stuff on your gdemu dude. But its more of a curiousity thing at the moment. If cdi support should be done, then we have the sensation.
Your argumentation is like "oh the mercedes benz year 2000 a-class with its 1.8 litre engine is able to reach 280km/ h! ... if u change this and that in deep." So its cool for the a-class tuners, but not for the og users, who keep things cleanand they are (gladly) still the majority of people.
