Im trying to set one up (refer other thread), a low ping one for us Aussie players when theres none of you guys playing.

Ive got it to the point where i can connect to it on my DC, but it wont scan properly in the master list or show up properly on the master list on this site.

Ive been talking to another friend who used to play Q3 back in the Seganet days and hes just bought a BBA so we will see him soon too!

I'm having problems with Q3 right now so until I figure it out, I won't be able to get online.
Its really my internet's fault (stupid dial up) and on Q3 it lags to the point of "unplayability" so to speak. It works fine on PSO v.2, but that's the confusing part about this, and I have no idea why this would be happening. so until I figure that out, no Q3

Damn, i hope you get it sorted out soon, the more people who are a part of this growing community the better!

I think my copy of Q3 is arriving today. What time do y'all usually play on Fridays EST?

Are you using a real dialup service like a free dialup number?
PSO Will work great on virtually any dialup connection because it was designed on dialup, it only uses like 5% of a dialup connection because of its synchronous communication.
But quake 3 uses a lot more speed and bandwidth using continuous snaps data and even on the best dialup connection will lag a bit anyway. its not very practical for dialup but its fun anyway. =)

I get on whenever I can later in the evening around 6 or 7 PM or so, which would be around 8 or 9 EST I guess. If anyone needs to they can always schedule an earlier game for those it would work better =)
