I actually did this a while back out of curiosity, I used to use my Dreamcast as a CD player a lot back when I was a teenager and wanted to see if GDemu could do it. I was really happy to find that it worked, so much so that I still plan on getting another SD card at some point and just loading it with my favorite albums.
As for what I'm currently listening to, I've really came around on The Smiths and Morrissey this past year or two. Also really into Archers of Loaf and Lagwagon.

Oh, and you might think I'm crazy, but I think the Cars 2 version is also pretty nice
