This may help, this is another person's project, through the ATMEGA168 to achieve controller connection USB, he pointed out that stable data only 240 ns, with 250 samples of data will lose packets!

He is reading the DC controller, not creating a new controller

are you also having an issue where it doesn't show up on boot or restart until you reboot the stm32? and is it like that on all the current firmware releases, I've currently got ArcadeStick_test flashed to mine.

Yes, I have the same problem on multiple pills, once the controller is lost it is not reconnecting again via command 1, that's why I've sent the original controller screenshots with the stm32 capture to compare.

on my board setup you've seen above what I do is leave it connected to port 4 and boot the DC then goto the memory card screen and press the reset on the pill for a sec and then it usually shows up and tends to work fine after that but if I mess with it too much it can disconnect, also if I am in a game and soft reboot the DC it is not there again.

Yes, it will be great once the stability is improved.

I wanted the data to be read faster from the virtual VMU, but it turned out that this does not work for everyone.
will have to slow down to the speed of the original controller
