I am pretty sure the dev will be able to implement a widescreen mode in the game, in the meanwhile if anyone wants it...

OPENLARA DREAMCAST

Code: Select all

FIND
00 00 80 3F 60 21 0B 8C 68 21 0B 8C 74 21 0B 8C
REPLACE
AB AA AA 3F 60 21 0B 8C 68 21 0B 8C 74 21 0B 8C

on a side note, interesting how good Flycast reach to emulate all the libronin coded programs on DC
(also DreamSNES, ScummVM, CaveStory...)

lol, why the answer in German, are you studying it?

about the savings, i am testing via Demul and Flycast, and seems something not yet right
you can save and reload fine just in the same longplay, but if you try to reload the save after a turn off or reboot,
seems it does not work anymore... something to check on real hardware

The savegames do not work on real hardware at least not in my first try, once I power circled the console it didn't load anything I haven't checked if there is a save game in the VMU though, but Ii saved the game in the cristal gem.

thank you for the confirm Esppiral, seems something not yet correctly implemented then
i'll wait for the next release to attempt a walkthrough then :)

the save is on the vmu, but it does not work after a power reboot

I played through to like the 4th level and was saving and all and assumed it was all good. I just checked and yes, it is broken for me and I am unable to load my save file. There is indeed a save file on my VMU though which is 2 blocks.

Unfortunately music is not working yet, but sound effects do.
