All the hdmi cables break pound bitfux etc i have had them all last about 3 months then burn out..

Do you have it connected directly to monitor/tv with VGA, or do you use a VGA to HDMi adapter too?

unfortunately I can't do the same, my tv support nativelty the vga signal but it doesn't have the VGA input, so i must resort to hdmi.

thefoo.83 made my cables. He doesn't have any DC VGA cables listed right now, but, if you dm him, he might be able to do you up one (don't quote me, but, you know... never hurts to ask). His cables are fantastic. You will need a gender changer but thats no big deal. I've been using his cable with my DC for the past 3 years. another update:

I received another VGA cable, it says "socobeta, shielded cable" but it looks just the same as previous chinese cable that I got.
But the newest one doesn't work at all: no image, black screen and only audio working.


Meanwhile I continued to use the old VGA cable, and now the " horizontal flickering" disappeared, only the interference remains.
Is there an expalnation?

judging from the simple label, it seems an old cable from 1999 or something, but I can't find any info around.

Run it direct and see all cables are the same as we said .. Dont use a hdmi converter dont put it near anything .. Pretty sure this all todo with vga to hdmi your using.. That other non working cable might be if used direct lot of these vga to hdmi converters cant handle a dreamcast vga output..
