mess emulator intellivision for dc

what if the p4 controls were swapped in place of p1 controls, then assign numpad that way?
if it ever gets modded to work that way you could call it the dobbs mod version.
whenever bob chimes in he could post the exact key combo he desires, and if it can be modded then i think he will love the dreamcast even more than burger king combos.
his 2 favorite consoles are intellivision and dreamcast.
i'm not asking you to do anything ian.
pls don't add me to the list of the 999999999999999 projects you already do.
again maybe its something i could mod with cfg or a hex edit..

I forgot i dis-abled numberpad i can make a new build with that enabled

building and i fixed static on the sound have to work out numberpad but major task getting a new build

New build with this enabled but it still dont seem to work.. anyways here is the new build with better sound.. change-able theme

Put a new build up there .. Perl is used for the makefile build system one white space it breaks lol..
Remembering the code and apply it at this point is the hardest.. As i hacked in the dc controls as that's what people wanted.. over 400 src files to look thru it is full mame and mess but bulit as a single tiny driver.. New build works games better enabled number pad but still dont seem to work.. Giving up for today..

do what you want, don't think that you need to do anything.
just the fact that you looked at it and noticed numpad disabled is good.

New build all games still cant get numpad to do anything but i noticed this works more games then the old one so something..

cdi can change the theme files and the directorys are what it will have when reading /cfg files..

I still have my dev setup from then thanks to a cdr i burned in australia in 2002/3 which has been 12000 miles to USA and thru 2 marriages and 10 moves of house lol..

If i had more time i could bring a ton of systems old pc's and other consoles via this to dc .. Always plan to one day but time got away..

I did a7800 vectrex lynx inellivision ..
and the app to convert normal intv roms to this format as normal found roms do not work.. Which it seems for years back then no one read the readme lol..

Menu is too confusing to the user to many options for them..

i noticed the format for intellivision roms is different than .rom files used with your port of mess/intellivision.
what do you need to do to convert a newer intellivision romset that is .bin, .int, .itv also .cfg files that go with some of these as well?
i had to use an older cdi of the intellivision dc emu and the roms that were in the software/intv folder.

i also found these intellivision system bioses:

intv.zip - Intellivision
intv2.zip - Intellivision II
intvecs.zip - Intellivision Entertainment Computer System
intvkbd.zip - Intellivision Keyboard Component
intvsrs.zip - Super Video Arcade

there might be a few others that i'm missing from that list. mattel aquarius?

Ok, here is my thought on mapping. This will be in order of Intellivision = DC Keyboard.
1= 7
2 = 8
3 = 9
4 = 4
5 = 5
6 = 6
7 = 1
8 = 2
9 = 3
0 = 0
Enter = . Del
Clear = -
Fire = +

DC Controller to still use D-Pad for movement.

bob, don't you think the keyboard arrow keys should also be for d-pad movement?
the arrow keys are right next to numpad.

you would have to do some odd maneuvering to get the dc controller d-pad next to the keyboard numpad and maybe tons of duct tape lol idk.
