This sounds great, but I'm worried about this part:

Should the title be successful on this system, it may usher a in new wave of quality on the platform in general. Indeed, the platform was chosen specifically to test its possibilities – and stretch its limits.

It would make sense to assume that it's on Dreamcast because all of RSG's previous games were on DC, but why would they try to hide the platform if it was another DC game?

The part about stretching the chosen system to its limits sounds promising though, considering all independent DC releases have been 2D. On the other hand, this might suggest that they are developing on a more primitive system, because how could they possibly push the Dreamcast more than games like Shenmue II?

Voice acting pretty much confirms that this game will be on a disc, so that limits the choice of platform to Dreamcast or Jaguar CD, unless they've figured out a way of getting past lockout on a different disc-based system.

I never read that it was a secret about what platform it was on. They just didn't use Dreamcast, they only said "this system".

My guess is the game is Fast Striker, and I'm hoping it'll be for Dreamcast. But don't be surprised if they announce this for the Neo Geo CD.

It fits better with their description of "pushing the limits" than the Dreamcast does, and since its already available for the Neo Geo MVS format, the porting wouldn't be quite as much of an endeavour.

I assume you can say a sentence or 2 before the cardridge is full

I doubt it, but I was referring to the Neo Geo CD.

Just because the Neo Geo MVS version didn't necessarily have voice acting, that doesn't mean the Neo Geo CD version couldn't.

Sega CD has no lock out at all, never had copy protection. voice acting in popful mail was kick ass. i laughed my ass of at times. im sure that they will pass on the Sega CD, but who knows? its an option
