Found something VERY rare!!

Wow!!! you were the guy that bought that?!!!! i had that on my ebay wishlist and even asked the seller to sell me the vmu separately and you TOOK it. Wow. Guess I have to wait another 65 years till another one pops up.

Well, actually I didn't buy the initial lot. Someone else did. But I guess he/she didn't pay. So the seller relisted it, and I bought the relisted one yesterday evening (US central time).

Hadn't realized that yellow VMU's were rare before. But having gone through my own box of memory units I discovered that's the only color of millenium edition VMU I don't own.

Honestly though, there's way rarer stuff out there. Interested in seeing how the forum will react should a retailers kit turn up.

The problem with those limited sets is that NOONE seems to have the damn keyboards. I know they made them! I saw the black and pearl blue ones for the "cool color" run, and I can't for the life of me find the black one for my set.

Maybe someone here can help me. I made myself fancy controllers, and if you look at the black one, the plug has the clear plug from the millinium edidtion one.

I picked up a friends japanese red & green controller, and found a blue on on ebay for cheap, so I can go ahead and add those fancy plugs to four color'ed controllers (the top right one is my playing one, the bottom 4 are for my display / collection).


But... now that I think about it... Was there even a japanese yellow controller? I don't think I've ever seen one... I might have screwed up my display by having an oddball black plug on that controller.
