As a postscript to my musings on Vanishing Point I thought I'd give you some idea what it might cost you to buy a copy of the game.

Using Ebay as a guide, I found Pal copies for between £3.50 and £6.00. In the US and Canada you have to pay a little more: ~ £6 - £12. At those prices I suggest you all get hold of a copy pronto.

Jeez, that game had a tough time going up against Soul Calibur, VFtb, DOA, Project Justice, BLEEM Tekken etc

I was always led to believe it was a really poor game especially considering the competition on the Dreamcast. So I never bought it ! Actually it's one of the few PAL fighting games that I've never owned(and I've owned a few).

Is it really any good :o

It's not bad at all really... I find it very fun actually, It's the best home conversion available (heck, it's better than the actually arcade version with double the resolution and an expanded character roster). It has a very quick learning curve and looks visually decent with VGA!
I personally never liked MK4 to begin with, but one of my friends really got me to enjoy the game on Dreamcast quite recently so i nabbed a copy. It's MK goodness, and series is all about guilty pleasures IMO lol!

Here's a vid I recently posted on my channel if you wanna check out some decent gameplay and flow of a match, enjoy LOL!

Blimey, that looks crazy ! I must admit, on the strength of that video, I think I'll order it in. The actual look of the game is sweeter than I'd imagined. You're obviously a far better videogame pugilist than myself but I think I've seen enough of the gameplay to know I'd get something out of it.

I'll get my special edition chocolate (sorry maz) medal out if anyone can answer this question:

In what other DC game can you decapitate your victim ?
