Alright, so far the date seems to be Friday January 13th, 2012. Does that work for everyone? If so, I still need a time. I'm thinking maybe 4:00PM EST (GMT -5:00).

Radkin and I would like to join this one but it will be difficult to compete until the holidays are over.

We're looking the 13th of January right now. Possibly around 4:00pm EST but that could change. Also if you both join then we will have 5 which would require two servers. In that case we would need at least a couple more players.

while that day is probably fine for me the time is a bit too late, if you could either make it 5-6pm EST so it ends up being later and my other half will be in bed, or make it about 4-5 hours earlier as she will be at work until about 1pm GMT. thanks

Alright Ultrapro. I think I can change it to 5:00PM EST. I'm still not positive if everyone is ok with the time anyway. I think I'll send out a message to get some confirmations.

I'm in. If there is overflow just join the dc talk ctf server to wait. What are the plans if more than 4 people show up? We should all try to be in the forum chat to coordinate while the event is going on.

thank god I've got my keyboard! I've told the mrs that I'm gonna be online for this she'll just have to lump it lol. if we get enough numbers maybe we can just run 2 deathmatch games on the same server?

Alright, so we now have 5 players so I have a couple ideas.

1. We have a qualifying round first with the last two players to join, that would be Bob Dobbs and Impulse (any other players that join before the competition will be playing the qualifier as well). The winner of that round will continue on to the main game.

2. We change the rules of the game and make it "Last Man Standing". The person in last place will be eliminated and the fifth player will join in his place. After that we just eliminate a player each round until we have our winner.
