Do you have to have the light gun in or does it work ok with just the normal DC controller?

It works fine with the regular controller. You just move around the aiming reticule with the analog stick and shoot with the R trigger.

Hm? For me, shooting is the "A" button. "R" centers the crosshair. I didn't realize HotD had any alternate control schemes.

Woops, yup, you're right. It's the A button not R. For some reason I keep thinking it's the R button. Probably cause most modern shooters use the R button to shoot.

Okay, I got my run filmed. Please excuse the poor camera positioning. I don't have a tripod. Hell, I don't even have a camera. I had to borrow one.

Might seem like I'm using CDAges' method. I'm actually holding the controller normally. Still not nearly as fast, though.
