How long did it take you to get that far? I ask because I'm also going for a complete collection, though I'm only 60-70 games in. Did you concentrate on DC only? I tend to get a bit distracted with other consoles.

it depends on how you live, you could have it all in a year or 2 if you live on bread & water ;)

took me 10 years, but I got a child 8,5 years ago & this kinda thing puts your financials on low profile so...

Maybe I'm not doing too badly then, but it's restricting my freedom to buy for other consoles, so I'm going to try and get it over with.

Since this week I'm the owner of one the holy grails of Dreamcast collecting, the 'Sega/NEC Dreamcast Set2.1 Board'

Cool! What was this board used for? Was this the board sega gave out to interested developers before the katana dev kit was used? Did you get drivers, software, or demos related to it in the purchase?

Correct, this board was used prior the final Dreamcast (development) hardware was finished. This board is mainly known for showcasing the 'Scud Race' tech demo (auto-run, not playable). Luckly I already had the SDK for this board before purchase (incl. the Scud Race tech demo) :)
