...And I don't want to open up old wounds... But here in the UK, we refer jokingly to our girlfriends as 'the wife', or 'the misses', or 'her indoors'. I think it's just sarcasm if you have a partner who has a habit of 'giving you advice'. I suppose the premise of being married, suggests that you then have to 'share' and 'do as your told', losing some of your independence or freedom. I'm also in my early 40s, married 17 years with 4 kids. - We love all of our ladies, regardless of that 'bit of paper'. It's just a tradition thing.

My wife thinks it's cool. We beat the shit out of soul caliber... Unlocking every last thing. She beat shenmue 2 as I watched.
She tried PSO at a lan party (4 BBA's 4 CRT's) and thought the game sucked. Haha

Yeah. He went out and bought one after I told him. hahaha. Plus, he loves Jet Set Radio so he couldn't resist.
