Right, so it's immediately failing while looking up the DNS.

I'll look into it! ;)

Awesome. Thanks for the update. When I visit the states in winter ill get the parts to build one of these. Im hoping one of my DC models has the proper modem so I dont need to add a line voltage inducer to the mix

I'm pretty sure all modems need voltage for this. But the voltage induction seems harder than it is

The latest version of DreamPi fixes the problem with the Windows CE games (Starlancer, 4x4 Evo, and Maximum Pool) taking multiple attempts to connect! They all connect on the first attempt now! So happy about this! :D I'm officially using the DreamPi as my primary connection method instead of the Netopia.

Man. Ive been wantint to try it for a while now!! Can i just get a .sh instead of flashing a card for it? Pm me a link if thats possible.

I was also thinking or making a pcb with the voltage inducer circuit from the 5volt psu and what not. Maybe during the holiday!

I wanna play starlancer online

Now I regret investing for that netopia router and phone line simulator.

The phone line simulator is still handy to have because you can use it in place of the line voltage inducer. That way you don't have to deal with replacing batteries.

this is interesting for sure. Though I'm still using a landline dialup right now.
