Hello everyone!
First of all I would like to thank and congratulate everyone who worked hard so that we could enjoy this game on our dreamcast, and emulators. My sincere thanks a lot.
I tested the cdi version of the game (my only console is a va0, and no terraonion mode foreseen for me 8 /).
I would like to leave my impression on what I realized from the cdi version of the game. I tested it on the flycast emulator on retroarch and also on a copy on cd on dreamcast, using the av cable, on an old tv. I was impressed by how much fun the game is, and because it is a game from an officially different platform from dreamcast and that never had these games brought to the console, it was very, very good indeed. However, there are some negative points in the experience I had. In both I had random freezes (twice in the dreamcast, and once in the emulator). however it was possible to complete the game in easy mode. Using cd-r recording, I could see that there is a lot of slowdown when new enemies appear, or in new areas. In some moments it impairs the gameplay a little, but it is very playable even on cd-r. I don't understand anything about how they converted this game, and how they turned it into a writable CDI. So I am extremely happy that the community has people so smart and dedicated to doing good things like the one they did. A suggestion for the CDI, which may help (or perhaps not), is that if possible, increase the loading time of the data of a certain stretch of the phase, in order to fill the memory with the objects that will appear there, reducing the slowndown at these times, this would make the game even better.
