Fantastic! this is amazing work, glad you could get things back on track to come back to it.
Is there any plan for Atomiswave Metadata? Just realised the other day when I loaded up my Atomiswave card that there's nothing for it, which seems like a relatively easy win given the amount of games there are.
Also, with the GDMENU theme in this, it got me thinking: could there be the possibility of working with @RazorX and somehow being able to use his theme manager (
https://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/vi ... 87#p154487 ) to help bring more GDMENU style themes to this. Or at least give people of the option of taking something from that and importing it into openMenu. There's a few theme's in that that I like for their simplicity but the improved functionality of openMenu is what's needed under those themes.

I've been creating themes for the open menu. There's a bit involved in getting them right but not overly hard. I've created quite a few now and always ask people for ideas etc so don't mind helping out creating a personal one

I share all my themes

used to do them for the Wii. Need to edit a couple. Mrneo used them in his last video

I saw these on another thread and that's partly what put this in my mind. Some of this stuff can seem a bit like a dark art at times but I suppose, once it's all ironed out, if there was some templates, that would help speed it up for anyone that's wanting to get into it.
I ended up creating loads of Super Famicom square covers for my SNES Mini but only cos I came across some brilliant templates for them. if I hadn't had them, I don't think I'd have bothered.

I kind of use a template myself. E.g having the Dreamcast logo. Open menu and button layout always present on layers. It's all saved as a PSD file for photoshop. I used a theme creator for the Wii which was a big help. I'm not sure if a similar thing can be created for the open menu though.
I know mrneo has messaged me about a notepad file he's including to change things like font colour

I haven't tested it with this menu yet, but did so on the older GDMenu from Neuroacid. I downloaded a bought copy from RetroSumus that contained several image formats, CDi included.
I found that the CDi image did not boot. I decided to try mounting one of the other images (.ccd in this case) to an emulated drive, and use Disc Juggler to make a CDi image with the relevant options ticked (Raw read, etc).
It worked! I'll try booting said image with Open Menu and post back.

I stumbled on this today, absolutely brilliant stuff. If I can help in any way, please let me know.
I know nothing of programming, but am fairly handy with art creation for covers, themes and the like. I was thinking for stuff like the SMS plus type apps, or others with no artwork to display, etc.
Also, I am a pretty good proof reader and be able to make any spelling or grammar corrections where necessary (in game descriptions and the like).
Also, is there any way to stop games being mismatched in the menu? Some have the wrong covers attached!
Really cool stuff here.

Have you added games then changed/added/deleted some after? I've read somewhere that this may make artwork be allocated to.the wrong game. A fresh install would probably fix this

I will try a fresh install, thank you for the tip. I have been adding and subtracting titles, yes.
Do I need to reinstall GDMenu first?
EDIT - To answer an earlier question, Xenocider (my own remade image) booted.
