So I was out of town this weekend buying a new car, and I decided to do a search for some retro game shops that might be in the area I was in (Sacramento, CA). I found one and made a stop on my way back home today. And I walk in and see this...


A brightly lit shelf with sealed Dreamcast games!!!!!

...and they had a 20% off sale going on!! Needless to say I almost shit myself, and wished I had more money to spend. There were some quality titles in there, but I already own most of them. But still.....to see something like this in the flesh is fucking awesome. I DID spot one title that I needed, and didn't hesitate.


EGG sealed for $45. I only got Seventh Cross Evolution because it was complete/mint for only $3.

This shop is about an hour and 30 min. from where I live, but I will be going back very soon. What a fucking find.

Not much by way of deals. I have been picking up some more common games locally for roughly the going rates online, and between B2G1 or B5G1, and the small business promo AMEX was running last month, I did pretty well. I've bought about 30 DC games in the last month.

A local store has a boxed Madcatz Panther stick he'd let go for $50. That would be great, but the box is barely holding together and the stick itself is so yellowed you'd mistake it for Big Bird's dick. I contemplated de-yellowing, but I'm not terribly confident in my ability to do so.
