Re: Adapter for MAPLE (Release)
i recommend downloading the vmu dumper as megavolt said and if you can get it to detect the 16 banks i recommend flashing the 16 vmu bin files i released that are already setup for you, once you have done that if it still doesn't show up as a vmu you may need to unplug it and plug it back in while the system is on.gilvan666 wrote:the 0 ohm resistor was missing. now the vmu emulator is detected as a control. @megavolt85 @razorx
i also found it works better if i have it in port 4 and a controller with a vmu in port 1.
be sure when hooking it upto the pc you set the BOOT1 to 1 in order for it to be detected on the pc.
just so you know, i added that 0 Ohm resistor so people who wanted to could power the board externally rather than using power from the controller port depending how they want to set it up.

Re: Adapter for MAPLE (Release)
thank you megavolt85. thank you razorx. I downloaded the vmu dumper, with the razorx tip to set the jumper to boot1, the vmu dumper recognized the 16 vmu I read and then recorded the dump .Bin from the razorx posted. I disconnected normal. but when connecting to dreamcast it recognizes normal I just can't make any copy of my vmu for any of the 16 pages of the vmu emulator.

Re: Adapter for MAPLE (Release)
guys any tips? whenever I'm going to copy a file, there's an X in the vmu and it doesn't do anything else.

Re: Adapter for MAPLE (Release)
you didn't add anything on the 16v cap part did you? that was just there for testing and should be left unpopulated just like the 10uF MLCC part.gilvan666 wrote:guys any tips? whenever I'm going to copy a file, there's an X in the vmu and it doesn't do anything else.

Re: Adapter for MAPLE (Release)
I had soldered a 16v capacitor to test it on it made no difference I removed it. only detail is with the arcadestick_test firmware.

could razorx make a video of your vmu emulation working?
I'm going to make a video of how it works.
