How did it get out of hand? This is only speculation!MrSega wrote:It would seem that one of the moderators here, feels that this topic is getting out of hand and has issued me a board warning.
I don't understand. I did have an original topic about SEGA patents, but that topic was deleted. And I understand that is going off topic but several users here including ZachMorrisFGN and Haneda have already pointed out that the patent is for "Let's Tap" but since Wal-Mart has printed a massive typo on all thier "Capt America posters" its becoming fixed around that.
Therefore I will try to edit and change the name of the topic.
I sincerly, truly apologize to the moderators here if they feel this topic has gotten out of hand.
I am very sorry.

Tec Toys was Sega's console Distributor in South America (They came out with a Mega Drive in 2009 also). Maybe Sega plans on updating this console and use it as a digital download console.

Probably not likely. If its underpowered and only for the South American region, SEGA doesn't want to reenter the hardware business with a digital home console. They've decided a game tablet which will be downloadable only is the best route.Dreamcast2-k12 wrote:Has anyone heard of the Tec Toy Zeebo. We call that an iPad.MrSega wrote:Once again, could this what be what the Sega KIDSPAD looks like?

SEGA does have the rights to design KIDSPAD to look like I-pad.BIGGER wrote:We call that an iPad.MrSega wrote:Once again, could this what be what the Sega KIDSPAD looks like?

I agree. Also to cover up any suspicion that Sony and Nintendo have that its a contender against PS Vita and 3DS.RiilihShimo wrote:I have a theory on why SEGA is calling the tablet "kidspad".
Kids like to play on the ipad, itouch, and iphone.
So why not call it the "kidspad"? This will encourage the parents to buy it for the child to play with instead of playing with their apple device. Its a simple market strategy.
