Yeah Wombat just posted a recent tweet of his in another thread where he said he had successfully removed ALL protections from the MGS bleem emulator disc. So he is still busy. He just hasn't been posting much on places like Assembler like he used to I believe. Once he has something to release I am sure he will. I seriously have been missing playing GT2 on my DC since I got my GDEMU, so hopefully we can even get self booting versions of those games now that the protections are going to be possibly removed from all 3 official discs.

Yes thats the link. hex edit is compatible with this game. Just follow hex edit "how to" in first post and do for this game. Zorlon didnt tested him self this particular game.
