as for alcohol 120% the only thing i can remember that you should be worried about is the write speed
In my case it's always at full speed :P

yeah but what is full speed? when i last used alcohol i did so at something like 12x. that was on a Vista laptop. if i do it on my older PC it will go as low as 4x. in either case it worked fine. i recommended that he lower the speed because that is what was recommended to me by others. i was told to burn at the lowest speeds possible when i am burning my Dreamcast games.

NO! do you listen? what are the default settings? if i say to use them, wtf does it matter which media setting your suppose to use? the default settings would have had that part already set up for you. really are you even trying to do this the way i said to do it? do you want it to work or not? if so try what i said.

btw my DJ settings has CD-DA by default, it also has it set to Audio not mode 2 by default. this doesn't matter because you would be burning a disc image. if you would get version 6 you might just get it to burn the game correctly. i should also note that we don't even know that it's the programs fault. it could be the brand of media that you are using. it could also be that your Dreamcast cant read CD-rs. or any number of other things. you need to do some trial and error.

in any case i am done trying to help with this. if you won't help eliminate some of the possible causes then you're on your own.

Sorry Gary, I think you've covered this quite well. Something "else" must be wrong.

i just wish he would have tried my suggestions. i think we could have figured it out. he was insistent that i answer irrelevant questions and i was not having the best day that day. my patience were running pretty thin with the whole subject matter. so i gave up before i developed an aneurysm
