That's alright. Doesn't matter. When you write the image it will create all the partitions.

So I just labeled the drive as boot and flashed the image. Followed the videos instructions. Ready to boot up now

So I booted up, hooked up to WiFi, tried going on alien front, it dialed but couldn’t get a connection to the server. Kicked me right back out of the online menu. Another weird thing is that I can’t find the Dreamcast on the connected devices list on the router settings page. Yet the two lights are on on the LVI indicating a connection. The pi is connected to WiFi but won’t show that it is on my computer.

I see the MAC address of the dreampi on the pass through fixed MAC address part of the IP pass through settings also. I think they did that when I called my ISP

I deleted that setting and now I see the Dreamcast appearing on the list. I’m going to change the IP as instructed on the troubleshooting page.

Eureka! It works now!!! Now I’m going to try forwarding the ports. They should be forwarded to the .98 address or just the address that appears for the dream pi?

Should I give the dreampi a fixed allocation on my router settings page? It has one in the hundreds rather than .97, .96 or .98. I had it working at .98 last time

I actually was unable to change the IP on the pi via the configuration in the troubleshooting page. Every time I tried, it wouldn’t connect to the WiFi. When I reconnected it to the WiFi , it didn’t stay as .96 like it would at first, it kept going back to .124 . But when I loaded quake, it connected to the server... so it’s connecting to the servers now so that’s good. Just can’t seem to forward the port on alien front. When I allocated the dhcp to .98 last time, it worked.

Okay, so here is where I’m at... I got the Dreamcast able to connect to the servers with a normal IP of .98, but the pi’s IP is at .124 ... the IP is supposed to be at .96, but every time I fix it, it gets disconnected and when I reconnect, it goes back to .124 . I can’t forward the ports as is, any suggestions?
