Thinking forward. If I move all games to their 01, 02, 03 etc folder...
What will happen when I want to add new Amiga games? Will adding to folder 150 and onwards still be in alphabetical order, or will the whole set need to revised in the SD Card?

Re: Ransom's Amiga to Dreamcast CDI's
I have fixed and added the first 10 Amiga Games to a GDEMU file system, tested all the games on a real DC and they all work fine
Link is for the the first 10 games from letter "A"
https://mega.nz/file/wNFBzKgB#9uua3ym8d ... 3WOabSaTzM
Please test and give results...
In the meantime I will keep fixing the rest of the games and release the complete pack until they're all Fixed/Tested

Using GDMENUCardManager, you would add the cdi, do a name sort, preload, then save out the new config.ransom wrote:Thinking forward. If I move all games to their 01, 02, 03 etc folder...

Re: Ransom's Amiga to Dreamcast CDI's
I tried it and wasn't sure how to allocate a slot number after dragging a cdi into it?
Either way manual method is ok as I know where each file goes and I can test as I add games...
Side note, can you reset dreamcast back into gdemu from a launched game?
If I hold 4 buttons and start it always just goes to the title screen of the current game?
*** Update as end of day's work with these Amiga converts. 85 Games now Fixed and working with GDEmu, Im hoping I can finish them all tomorrow

It should do it automatically when you 'save'.

We will probably see slow initial loading if the build is done manually, given the number of games.

Totally game dependent, in this case no.

Manual method - you would have to renumber yourself.ransom wrote:Thinking forward. If I move all games to their 01, 02, 03 etc folder...

FYI:
Folder limit is now set to 9999, but to avoid having to rename everything it works like this:
for 1-9 put 0 in front to make it 01-09
for 10-99 use 2 digits (*)
for 100-999 use 3 digits
for 1000+ use 4 digits

Re: Ransom's Amiga to Dreamcast CDI's
Was there a way to reboot to gdemu when using homebrew? Or is power on and off the only way?
If that us the only way is that technically safe for not ruining the sd card... Anyone know?

All 194 Games Now converted and working with covers in GDEmy on Real Hardware..
I got to test almost 100 Games and only one seemed to sto pon the loading screen as far as I know "Blob"
The rest ill leave it up to you guys to tell me if some games dont work, Though I'm pretty confident moajority of the games will work...

Re: Ransom's Amiga to Dreamcast CDI's
Wow! Seriously exhaustive effort!
I made a version you can extract to your blank sd card.
It fast-loads the menu (supports upper and lower case) and uses ateam's Cleancast theme.
Credit to ransom for original build.
Credit to sonik for GDMENU Card Manager.
Credit to madsheep for the original GDMENU.
Credit to Ian Michael for the updated UAE4ALL.
If any artist out there would like to make an Amiga GDMENU theme using RazorX's theme app, I'll take a look at it. I only need your unscrambled 1ST_READ.BIN file.
Download here (192.0MB):
If any games don't work, please post here.
Tip: RT hold, then LT hold enables 'super throttle' for faster loading.
