Hey off topic but years ago I actually talked to someone at dotemu about streets of rage 4 being playable on Dreamcast but they thought about doing a Genesis port, that' was all the way back in 2020 so who knows if they actually went through with the idea

It would be very cool to see sonic mania or streets of rage 4 on Dreamcast

They feel like they belong on that system

Hi Everyone!

I've tried to create a cdi image similar to megavolt85's to be able to play it on the DC by following this:

works perfect like this on gdemu above

thanks Anthony for testing my idea..

So just make a cdi file with this port copy ps1 tombraider assets ripped use iso buster or ultra iso then copy them to a folder with the bin file make it using bootdreams then can use this on gdemu just 2 copys like that will work want save space should be about to just use the cdi released to boot and a version like i just said about..
but failed at the point were I have to copy the bin file into the folder. I've tried to extract the oopen lara cdi image but it doesn't have a bin file in it. So if somebody would be so nice to send me megavolt85's image I'd be really thankfull!

1ST_READ.BIN from my image will not work on real hardware when building a CDI image, I patched it to run from a GDI image

Thanks for the heads up! What format does the Tomb Raider image have to be, to be able to use it with the OpenLara bootdisk? ISO is ok or should I try to convert it to some other format?

sadly not, still freezed from his second pc-assets build
i would have called it pre-alpha, rather than alpha, seeing the results

maybe he could try to improve his ps1-assets attempt, it was better imo
fixing the saves at least
