So for anyone who wants to try different video formats and players here is how to do it:
Rename the 1ST_READ.BIN of what you want to try to 2_DP.BIN, and put the files in the root directory of SegaKara
I used Lazyboot to make selfboot

I'm uploading images of my original Sega Karaoke VCDs, made by Brazilian Tectoy. If someone, someday, want examples of this VCDs to burn and run. Just to remeber, anyone is able to create your own karaoke videos VCD. For example, you need to download youtube karaoke videos and convert/burn to VCD original format, like with "Nero Burning ROM" and others.

2. VGA Karaoke Link Cable
A friend created this cable for me, where I can now have all Karaoke features on other video signals such as SCART, VGA and HDMI.
Maybe I was the first one stubborn enough to order a cable like this?

This is awesome, I thought the Karaoke couldn't output VGA!

Tell the world that the Dreamcast Karaoke HKT-4301 is being honored in 2023, fully functional for reading official or custom VCDs. Also highlight for my official Tectoy Karaoke VCDs collection.

Tried burning the provided .cdi and it doesn't seem to be selfbooting?
Also the uploaded vcd CDs appear to be empty folders
