New interview where we answer questions quite personally:
https://playzine.net/2024/12/07/intervj ... vietborgs/
Don't worry about the first couple paragraphs being in Swedish. Questions and answers are in English :)

Also, a quick look at how we create the enemies and scenery for Sovietborgs. From Blender to 16-bit sprites (and to low-poly models the DC can easily manage):

Behold the radioactive centipede and the dead surfer! We're considering the dead surfer to behave like skeletons from Golden Axe: some may remain as pure decoration, some may get up and attack.

Sega Lord X talks some recent developments in the retro gaming scene as 2024 comes to a close... including Sovietborgs  among other amazing looking projects like Kirito and Pyron's Batman Returns we're so excited about!

Hey Hombre, I

just saw the vid on the retro gamer boy chan, I forgot it this was only for the mega drive, or also the dreamcast, coz it would be an ideal game for the twin stick. Also will there be a 2 player mode?

I wouldn't be posting here every other day if it wasn't being developed for the Dreamcast!

Also, as we confirmed in both interviews I shared over the last couple weeks, absolutely yes, Twin Stick compatibility is planned.

We haven't thought of a 2 player mode, but if the KS goes well, who knows :)

Sorry bro, I was tired. I prolly read all that at some point, but was really excited about that video, so I thought I'd just ask instead of looking it all up
