I've given up, I will give you the files to help you make a cdi, I tried using the common steps of making a cdi and I'm just failing to make the game boot, maybe I'm blindly messing something up, I used binhack32 and then bootdreams but it still wont work, I don't really like working with cdis, maybe you will have more luck

Well, something is amiss with your CDI files. I cannot author a working CDI either.
I tried replacing 1ST_READ.BIN and IP.BIN in the CDI files you sent with the originals from your GDI, and that didn't remedy the issue.
Instead of using BootDreams or LazyBoot, I then tried using the simple little kit I put together for my patches. No luck.
When I use the original v1.1.1 files from your GDI, I'm able to successfully build a CDI, albeit oversized and unburnable. I don't know what all changed in your game data files in this CDI pack you shared, but something (other than the game executable) is broken.
EDIT: Okay, so I just realized that the original game is 254 files (if you include IP.BIN). The CDI pack you sent only has 134 files. Was this intentional? Was I supposed to extract the contents of the GDI, then overwrite its files with the contents of the CDI pack? Since you never specified, I wasn't sure. Assuming
this is what I was to do, I went ahead and tried it... and it didn't work either.
Please verify this collection of files for the CDI version and send them again.
Attached below is the simple CDI kit I made. If you want, you can try it yourself. The sort file (sortfile.str) from the original GDI is already there, which will help with the file layout on the actual burned disc. All you have to do is place the entirety of the game files in the "data" folder (this also includes IP.BIN). I would suggest starting with the original 1ST_READ.BIN and IP.BIN files from the GDI (extracted using something like GD-ROM Explorer).
EDIT 2: Okay, so I tried using all the original GDI files, and then only the .AFS files from your CDI pack to author a new CDI. That didn't work either. Shit's broken, sorry!
