so wait you can burn sega cd games and play them or am i missing somthing?

I meant NEO GEO CD. Weren't they the same thing except different storage mediums? Having voice acting on a 2D game seems really cool but how would it actually turn out?

I wish...I'd love to play some of their graphic adventures on the ol' DC instead of having to play them on the PC.

I wish someone would make a Landstalker-ish or vandal hearts-ish game for the dreamcast...

Yes, Sega CD games can be ripped and burned with out any special treatment, and yes the Sega CD will boot them.

They're similar, thats my whole point. Porting it would be far less difficult, but given that its a CD it would support the audio. Besides, they made Last Hope for the Neo Geo and then the Neo Geo CD prior to eventually putting it on the Dreamcast.

Sound similar to the current situation perhaps...?

Additionally, it also fits with their desire to "push the system to its max." They're not going to make something more powerful than Shenmue II, they're just not. But they could make Fast Striker the most powerful game on the Neo Geo CD.

hey, you do know that time stalkers is a sequel to land stalkers, right? well sort of anyway. i dont think its a direct sequel but, its the closest thing to it.

as AdamKoralik has already said, yes you can burn Sega CD games. only problem you might have is region lock outs. but there is no copy protection.

yeah, not really a sequel, it just features nigel (& other figures from other climax games, like Lady from ladystalker)

still one great game if you ask me

but what I meant was I'd love to see a topdown (isometric) sprite based classic action rpg on the dc.

This is why I am in great hope for Tahi to survive and make it to the Dreamcast.

I very much hope that they release the game on Dreamcast. I do not expect it on Sega CD or Jaguar ....
