Don't know about you guys but those creepy little things used to FREAK ME OUT!! Add to that Leonard Nimoys awesome voice and you've got a mamoth creep out game!!

yep, I thought I might as well do that while I'm at it, just in case anyone wants to play it sometimes so they basically know what its about/how its done.
it'd be a shame to have to start all over again if it dies say after 2 weeks. its not like any other game where you just start from your last savepoint, you actually have to start all over so...

yeah that was why it drove me nuts. I must have been doing something wrong though as I would go to work at half 8am, come home at 5pm and it would just eventually die from neglect lol. I remember I came home one day and it was so neglected and floating in a pitch black, freezing cold tank that it was just babbling nonsensically to itsself. So yeah I kinda gave up lol

Has any other game demanded as much dedication to the cause as this one ?

I think the longest I ever kept one alive was 2 days.

Nice report. It is very interesting. I would like to see this game on my own Dreamcast, but in my country it is hard to get. Anyway, it must be very nice feeling when we talk with character from game.
