WOW Ultrapro! I can't even touch that time! This is the best I was able to get:
Did you change your strategy at all from your last attempt?

well the only thing I did was become a bit more comfortable with the boost system after some repition it just became easier to use, I learned you can put it on, air break round corners and turn it off before causing yourself too much injury lol. I think the fact that I was going round the same track a lot also helped. Good luck!

Is there something i'm missing, do you guys use somekind of turbo? do you gain speed if you hit the walls?

Yeah there is a boost system. Here is how you do it:
Start Boost:
Press and hold the A button just before the "1" disappears on the countdown. This will give you a short boost at the start.
Regular Boost:
Wait until you are at the maximum speed (the bar on the right will fill up to the top). Once it does that, press and hold the analog stick forward. The meter will reset and start to fill again. Once full, quickly release A and press it again. Your boosters will start. Keep an eye on the meter. If it fills up all the way when boosting, your engine will set on fire. Just let go of A to stop boosting. It sounds complicated but you should get the hang of it with some practice.
...and no, you do not gain speed by hitting walls. lol

Its also of note to remember that you will suffer from reduced control fidelity, basically when you boost the vehicle will become slightly harder to steer, you can use the air breaks but just learn to charge the boost in time so that its ready when you come off the bends and hit straights and then release the boost before you hit a wall lol

One thing i also wanted to check was exactly what time the comp expires, i'm not being a prick but as i work mon - fri 9-5 i may not get a chance to attempt a time again before it finishes so i will be a bit upset if someone beats my time and then i'm unable to try again being at work! Especially as it was extended lol. Hope u understand wiz

It ends tomorrow @ 12:00PM EST. I can pretty much gaurantee that nobody will beat your time. I've pretty much thrown in the towel at this point

. I tip my hat to you sir! It was a good run. If anyone submits a time better than yours before the contest ends, I will extend it but like I said it's very unlikely.

Still a nice improvement over your last time. Nice job. You should see if you can get 1:15 or better so you can get the "The Force is with You" achievement. Just use the boost as much as possible without setting your engine on fire and cut the corners as close as you can.
