you play through the mission mode and unlock more costumes, then you press y when in the character select screen, I loved unlocking all the stuff for SC back in the day! that's why I have the gold title screen, as I've completed mission mode 100%. Nice job by the way CD AGES

When you get a certain image in the artwork, i believe one will enable the metalic mode, wich can be used on any char if you press and hold r when selecting a char.

oh is it the metalic option, I didn't actually watch the video yet lol, ooops! Yes you unlock metal mode for some characters, not all of them though

If I'm not mistaken, Metallic mode is available to everyone! You may be describing characters with a 3rd alternate outfit which in that respect are only available to certain characters...

quite possibly lol, I haven't played through the game and seen what you unlock and how for a LONG time
