Relanching some games would be cool and maybe re enable some servers like dreamarena or planet ring...

yeah, there is no way for them to release all the games on one disc. not even double sided double layer BR could hold that much.

I was just thinking, Screw the Dreamcast 2, why can't they just re-release the games for Dreamcast. I still want a new copy of Rez, Cosmic Smash, and an english translation of Segaga

hmmmmmmmmm...not a bad idea....hahahahahahah

The reason why I said that is because while looking at games on Segaga Domain there was 10 times as many games released in japan for the DC than here in the states. On 9/9/09 they should just translate some of them and sell them from a Sega online store. Maybe reopen SegaDirect.com

Have it open for the entire month of September and see how much they sell. It would be a tidal wave of orders.

Sega revisiting Dreamcast....but I wish the support for that was higher...do you guys think we are the only community doing some wishful thinking over here with the Dreamcast 2? or are there many more communities talking about this?

There's lots of people that talk about it, but if SEGA did it, how many would put their money where their mouth is? I know I would. I would go crazy buying thngs. I would sell my xbox 360....

Well on every Dreamcast 2 article that has been posted since its been discontinued I have mostly seen positive comments about it.

I think if it was priced affordably people will either ditch their new consoles or just let them collect dust.

I myself think people are kidding themselves when they say they are enjoying the current gen. They are probably just rationalising their purchase while not getting anything out of the investment.

@sonic_shuffle: This thread isn't about who would buy it and who wouldn't, I beleive this thread was originally started to hypothetically talk about the DC2...I would buy it if I had the money for it because I can see all of the good games being developed for it!

@TheCoolinator: There are many reason why many people keep their consoles. I keep mine because there may be an exclusive I see worth getting...but I ould never let mine collect any dust 'cause I dedicate a lot of my time playing my games...About the current gen, I am seeing an improvement compared to when it just began. Developers are now putting in time to crisp out their games!
