wow, thats awesome man thanks very much! I probably could've muddled through but this will make it a LOT simpler! I'm pretty confident with taking computers apart as I've been doing that in my work for a few years but I've never swapped out a PSU before and so I was a littled daunted by it... thanks again bud I'll let you know how it goes.

@Game_Player_S. I hadn't checked that so that's good to know, thanks!

really looking forward to getting this GPU hooked up, Can't wait to finally see Dawn Of War 2 in ALL its glory without having to set it to medium and I'm interested to see how high I can push Section 8 Prejudice, Crysis and Witcher 2

ok EDIT: the stuff has arrived today mate so I will install it all tonight and then we shall see how well I can finally run Witcher 2 and Crysis on my PC

do these products not come with those stickers that you put on the front of your pc to say "Powered by Corsair" for example?

thanks

ok so everything arrived today and I installed it perfectly, had a bit of trouble closing the lid as the new cables are still quite rigid and I eventually managed to do a 3d benchmark test. heres my result... probably shit!

really? what the frack? lol

so what does P4324 mean? is that good? I don't understand the score system :(

I ran the following games last night:

Crysis
Witcher 2
Section 8 Prejudice
Dawn Of War 2

and they all ran smoothly on ULTRA and at highest resolution of 1620 x 1000 (not sure of exact but its 1600 for sure) so I was pretty much wetting myself when I finally saw Crysis run on ultra, the motion blur and details its mental!! And the speed! god its sooooo much more playable now I can see it all clearly and not one of those games appeared to drop a frame from what I saw, though I'm sure my eyes aren't trained well enough to notice lol

thanks for all your help mate... can't tell you how insanely cool it is to be able to run those games at maximum and still play them perfectly!! I was blown away

Glad to hear everything worked out for you! Your score is based on graphics tests and physics tests. At the bottom of the page you can click "Detailed Scores" and it will display your FPS. Don't worry about low FPS its an intense benchmark. Your system is scoring as expected based on your specs.

:P

Cool vid!

Check out FRAPS, you can record the video source directly instead of a camera recording whats on your screen.

This is a vid I made with it:

I think you also have the convert the video into a compatible YouTube format, I couldn't get the sound working on mine though.

Yeah the free version should record video I think.

Alternatively you could try Ezvid which is free and easy to use.
