Good game all! You put up quite the fight Chris and in the end you get to take home the win! I gave it a few more tries this morning but to no avail. I just kept making mistakes. Congratulations on your first win!
Here are the final rankings:
1. ChrisHa2049 - 5' 20" 90
2. pcwzrd13 - 5' 23" 30
3. Alec1382 - 5' 50" 36

Yeah, I did, but I'm not going to bother. Well done, both of you!

Awesome. Not the game I'd have thought I'd get my first win with, but after the near misses in MSR and Daytona, I'll take it!

It was certainly fun. Good fight, like usual, as I think we pushed it near the limit...again. Just last week, I thought 5'50 was good.

I wonder if Dreamcast Live has spawned any world records? I think we've had some pretty amazing times/scores! It's hard to compare though since most games have a ton of variables such as character/car, weapons, mode, difficulty, etc...

Surely not world records. Remember when we took a look at the world records for Sega Rally 2? They were just so much faster than our times, and our times were formidable. Certainly, though, our scores are often tournament worthy.

Keep in mind that we were also using one of the slower cars. Most of the times on that leaderboard were using much faster cars. I don't even think there was anyone using the same car that we were using.

I remember otherwise. There was a time for the model of Impreza we were using, I think. Don't know if that was with custom settings though.

Sorry, you're right. I was thinking of Daytona USA. The top time for the Impreza (3rd place overall) was 1' 40" 946. rjay got a time of 1' 46" 689. That would put him in 415th place in the worldwide rankings. We were however using the default configuration for the car. To quote rjay:
