Yeah unfortunately the guy hasn't logged in for over 2 years... But I think I know why he had problems with his method of modding GTA 2. PVR textures. That would explain needing to make the textures in a format the DC can better understand since it wouldn't make them garbled looking.

But just thought I would mention that in case anybody in the future might like to mess about with it.

Im looking back at both the Revolt and the GTA modding but need some help.

Anthony817 didn't you provide me a selfbooting pack for GTA? Im unable to get a booting disc.
If you're able to make me that click and go package again that would be amazing, I have ideas.

As for Revolt I haven't started at it again yet but I had a few ideas for this also.
As I remember for revolt I used a random selfboot package to make an IP file then used that with bootdreams but I cant seem to figure how I did that either (as I tried to do it to GTA and failed)

I need some recapping and the original post for gta was on Isozone so no longer able to find out.

Well, I am on GDEMU atm, and don't have any CDI images personally, but I have a full set of gdi's backed up to my 1tb hdd on my gaming PC.

However, I think I can find you a selfbooting version of the gaame here if that is what you meant?

I need to be able to make a selfboot as none of the tools i try work, the only thing that worked for GTA was the GTA specific self boot kit I was given back on isozone.

.........is.....is....that a challenge i smell?

Try the selfboot inducer on that page.

Tried it and it failed for me but for whatever reason windows search decided it knew where the selfboot pack I was given originally =D. Work will be slow but I have some ideas for GTA.

Edit: Tested a few ways and got it working, back in action!
odd problem though, No boot in NullDC - Does boot in chancast but chancast load any version of GTA to the menu so testing is screwed.
(null DC loads original CDI, but not the repacked .nrg)
