No, because I still have this prototype from Aug. 7, 2001. A Broadband Setup Screen tool is available in the Network menu. The web page differs from the familiar one.

Presenting a tool for calibrating or repairing Dreamcast controllers. The program was discovered in a Dev Kit Katana previously owned by the accessory manufacturer Mad Catz.

Thanks for making this available and big ups to Ian for making the CDI. I do lot of controller and arcade stick testing, so this will come in handy.

@Ian is it possible to build a .gdi for you ?
Not sure it works with dreamshell in .iso format but not sure.

This is a work in progress with dreamshell RC5
If there is no cdda, it should run. But the RC5 doesn't run the .cdi, only dreamshell RC4 with firsts loaders.

It's normal selfboot scrambled cdi wince no cdda:)
