Kids like to play on the ipad, itouch, and iphone.

So why not call it the "kidspad"? This will encourage the parents to buy it for the child to play with instead of playing with their apple device. Its a simple market strategy.
That does sound logical. What if it's also meant to be used as a controller on a new console.

We call that an iPad.

SEGA does have the rights to design KIDSPAD to look like I-pad.
I'd like to see your source on that. Apple shall sue Sega out of business if they copy the iPad.

They're suing Samsung for the Vibrant looking vaguely like the iPhone.

Sega would be unwise to make the same mistake.

Sega released a few Dreamcast titles on it. Tec Toys was Sega's console Distributor in South America (They came out with a Mega Drive in 2009 also). Maybe Sega plans on updating this console and use it as a digital download console.

Probably not likely. If its underpowered and only for the South American region, SEGA doesn't want to reenter the hardware business with a digital home console. They've decided a game tablet which will be downloadable only is the best route.

Also, since the product has been on the market in Latin America for 2 years now. It doesn't look like SEGA will distribute it.

It would be a cool idea though.
The Zeebo was released in India and is going to be released in China. They're testing these markets so see if this system can sale. With all the business deals Sega is making, I wouldn't be surprised if they're interested in the console.

I agree. Also to cover up any suspicion that Sony and Nintendo have that its a contender against PS Vita and 3DS.
Agreed.

That could be possible.

I'm not sure if the Wii U idea can even be sold as a good concept yet.

SegaNews has said that SEGA is preparing to file some new trademarks soon on of the those marks his sources state is "RINGWAVE".

Also, maybe Super System/NEPTUNE could look like Zeebo.

Sega will not try a download system, expecially in Brazil! Brazil Internet rates are too high!

Also on the 'Ringwave' that is the possibility of a 'Ring' based console!
