Re: [USB GDROM] Troubleshooting & Firmware updates

Post by boquetipo »

Sports Jam runs correctly, but now my problem is that the game does not recognize any input from the controller (except during a initial black loading screen, for milliseconds).

I tried a different DC, different controllers, and nothing works. Other games detect the controller correctly. I tried in a Gdemu, and the controller IS recognized.

Anyone has the same problem?

Are you using a gdi or cdi version?

All kind of versions: gdi, cdi, tosec, redump, old dumps from Echelon... None of them worked.

Just tried sports jam on mine and it works fine. May be an issue with your controller board itself.

It has 2019/06/06 firmware.

Your board has the usb pointing inside the console, or outside it? Mine, second, it's very old.

Would you mind sending me by PM a link with the ISO you tested?

I cannot contact Mnemo, and last time he told me he had no problems.

Thank for the link. I tried the game in four different DCs, and had the same problem.

I contacted Mnemo, who sent me the last firmware, and the problem persists.

I will try to send him the board, so he can check it.

So crazy. The problem comes from video signal. If I play in LCD monitor, the controller input is recognized:
