Trouble with burned games on the Saturn (SOLVED)

As for the swap trick that most people do (switching the disc two times), I don't really see what the point is in the first swap. If the first swapping point is just when it checks for security, why not have the normal disc in the whole time until the reset? It doesn't begin reading game data until the second swap.

I'll try doing the swap trick most people do again, but it never booted to the game when I did try it.

Oh my God...

...it was the swap trick of all things. Only swapping once might have not been getting all of the data on my CDs, causing them to have strange glitches while playing them.

I'm really happy, but I'm also kinda mad; I already ordered a 25pk of Verbatim CDs and a replacement laser. Well, I can use the Verbatim CDs to burn off more great Saturn games, and keep the laser somewhere safe in case the one in there dies.
