Re: ClassiCube : Supports Online Play [ALPHA BUILD]
Having trouble with dial up, I tried port forwarding and it fails to connect every time, my router can’t do DMZ from what I’ve looked up, I gave up because there’s no Redial option so you have to turn the system off and then back on for every attempt, I also don’t see any option to change render distance or FPS, the options I’m given are theme and mode

Make sure the time and date is correct on your console. Are you using the latest version? Settings appear in game.

Re: ClassiCube : Supports Online Play [ALPHA BUILD]
Is that a requirement to connect or something? If your date/time is fucked, because your BIOS battery is dead, does it not connect?
...because I totally added support to KOS for setting the date/time in homebrew games using either the RTC driver or POSIX clock_settime(), so the ClassiCube DC build could get the current date/time via NTP or something then automatically adjust your clock for you... or at very least have an option to do that via the menu. We also have a KOS example for doing this via NTP if any dev needs to look at it.
Might make it easier on the users.

When in single player you will see the options to change those settings. Also remember work is still being done so it can run decently on a modem. I was one of the people testing modem for this game and I still had some problems connecting to it or the game would freeze. What I do is let the game load everything in if you connect and also I go through the server menu slowly to let everything load up. Hope this helps you a bitgalaxygod wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 3:47 pm Having trouble with dial up, I tried port forwarding and it fails to connect every time, my router can’t do DMZ from what I’ve looked up, I gave up because there’s no Redial option so you have to turn the system off and then back on for every attempt, I also don’t see any option to change render distance or FPS, the options I’m given are theme and mode

So I got the latest build from the link here today, I have a classicube account, and the date and time are correct on my console. It says establish Link failed(-2) and then error 5 when opening options-default.txtdeluxux wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 4:09 pmSo a few questions, did get any error codes?galaxygod wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 3:47 pm Having trouble with dial up, I tried port forwarding and it fails to connect every time, my router can’t do DMZ from what I’ve looked up, I gave up because there’s no Redial option so you have to turn the system off and then back on for every attempt, I also don’t see any option to change render distance or FPS, the options I’m given are theme and mode

Re: ClassiCube : Supports Online Play [ALPHA BUILD]
I was testing out servers I could play on and so far these are the one's. 3 are confirm to be working. All pictures shown are using a BBA to connect to the server. For Zombie Survival I just said no when it ask me if I wanted to download the server textures and was able to play it fine. Also the game did not slow down when others played on the server. I was able to play Football with 3 other people
1.Sprightly Football Public Demo
2.Good old Lava Survival
3.New Blood [Zombie Survival]

Re: ClassiCube : Supports Online Play [ALPHA BUILD]
So I tried some more today and I noticed it fails to establish a connection in 3-4 seconds so it’s not really even trying for some reason. My time and date are right and I tried port forwarding 25565 udp, tcp and tcp/udp so im kind of stumped, i upgraded to the latest dreampi firmware and redownloaded the game too.
