Sovietborgs mentioned in this "30 New Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Games in 2025". It won't be out in 2025 though, I'm afraid Shadow Gangs Zero (for the MD, Neo Geo and Dreamcast, too) included as well:

Another reason to use the DC Twin Stick! Yes please!
You guys really don't ever click the links, do you
No I know you confirmed the Twin Stick compatibility a long time ago. My comment was more a general statement in regards to the Twin Stick.

So, wouldn't it be cool if Sovietborgs featured shmup-like bonus stages?
Kill all Chernobugs!
Also let's take a look at the walking and attacking animations from the first stage boss:

Now, may I have your attention, please.
Sovietborgs is coming to Kickstarter Q1 2025.
Besides the regular editions (including blue PAL), we're considering a super limited, KS exclusive one with different artwork, packed with a super limited, KS exclusive PAL reprint of Xenocider (with different artwork too).
Nothing is decided yet but... you know, maybe

EDIT:
It seems my previous reply sounded a bit harsh or could be misunderstood or read in a tone that in no way was my intention, so first of all, my apologies.
Our plan is releasing Sovietborgs in american/japanese and european variants/editions as we did Xenocider. While I had assumed that was clear, it may not have been the case.
The above mockup is just an option we're considering: besides the regular (american/japanese/eur) editions, a special one with different artwork and/or metallic colours (or whatever we come up with), to kind of celebrate our love for old blue DC cases...

...which doesn't mean there can't (also) be a similar option / pledge for US/JP buyers. Nothing is decided yet.
Best regards (and we hope you all have a Happy New Year!)

You could just do A US/JPN version with reversible cover & booklet and next to that a PAL one, it's easier that way for the factory imho
