There are still those who are trying to get games back online (this is a good thing). Unfortunately, the problem we all face is the way Sega made the Dreamcast online connection work; via the game disc, not from a hard drive with an actual OS like the Xbox. This is why it's easier to connect online with the original Xbox "system" than getting a Dreamcast "game" online. Simply modding the game disc like what was done with PSO is the issue (meaning with the tools we have, we cannot alter the code or simply redirect the IP and expect it to work).

This is why it is so hard to get a Dreamcast online.
