so how long has it been alive now then? has it evolved past the living in a tank stage?

3 full weeks & 6 days
if you read the main post (which I have updated daily), you'll see that it has slowly evolved from an egg to a salamander like fish with feet (sorta like a coelacanth).
the aquarium has just changed to a terrarium today (partially drained it) & atm he's sitting in a small pond and I assume he'll be going an land soon

Just been reading your report on the original post, pretty interesting. So how do you put the larve in storage? I never managed to get a moth to appear and live for very long, you say "Took care of the moth" what does that involve? What do you feed him? So when you come back to the tank the next day isn't the temperature and air down to dangerous levels? I might crack this game out again if I can safely leave it to just checking once per day, I did really want to see where it would go to
