I actually don't have a TV right now XD (which doesn't stop me from pre-emptively pouncing on a couple of good deals on ebay) so it might be awhile before I can definitively test via gameplay. How do you unlock Bayman? Or is he already unlocked, just available only in VS mode?

Also for anyone interested - you can buy replacements for the slightly thicker Japanese CD cases on Japanese amazon (via a proxy). -They even come with your choice of white or black plastic trays, so they are truly the proper Dreamcast replacement. The link to the product is here, the price is for individual cases.

Along with my CVS2 case, my latest DOA2 case has some serious cracks and scratches on it. I'll probably buy some of these once I've gotten some more imports I want - just in case those have bad condition cases too.

OMG!!! I've been looking for these suckers everywhere? How much to the go for iin U.S. currency? If you plan to buy, please buy in bulk so I can buy from u... please. Plus I can rest assured that almost every DC import game you buy will have some sort of wear on em lol!

Unfortunately it looks like buying some of these will be more expensive than I thought.
The yen is strong to the dollar right now, so the 95 yen price quoted on amazon is about $1.20.

-If I buy 5 cases, that's about $6.
-Then it has to be shipped domestically in Japan to the proxy, I'm estimating that would be at least another $6.
-Then it has to be shipped internationally from the proxy to me, which I estimate would be about $8 or higher.
-Then I have to pay the proxy a fee for his services, which is usually 10% of the total price, or $10, whichever is higher.

So...
+6
+6
+8
+10
=$30 for me to get 5 CD cases...

That's kinda expensive and about at the limit I would consider doing. I'm still going to wait until I buy most of the other imports I want before doing this.

Buying in greater bulk (like 20 cases or 40 cases) would definitely shoot up the domestic and international shipping costs substantially.

Darn! I'd pay $6 a pop! Yeah it may sound like a lot, but I got a lot of banged up import DC cases that need a replacement case. They are the only DC titles in my catalog that haven't been replaced with a new shiny CD jewel case. Plus what other alternative is there...

not for the PAL games. the cases are more unique than the NTSC and JPN cases.

Come to think of it, don't SACD's come in bigger than usual cases ? I think it's worth checking out at least.

trust me I know, I had lots of fun finding replacements for the PAL ones, I followed the link someone provided earlier and assumed you guys were talking about the JAP/NTSC ones instead of PAL. I was lucky enough to find a set of about 10 brand new replacement PAL Jewel cases on ebay about 6 years ago and since then I've never needed another because I handle them with Kid Gloves lol
