Thats because they automatically assume its another "on-again, off-again" SEGA console rumor. My speculation is based on.what the mark describes. If people would take the time to actually read it, they'd figure out what it is.

Because it's to broad to make out exactly what it is. It could be anything or a bunch of things from tablets to little fake wii console upgrades like they sold in 2010 or portable dc1 games like tiger games released in 80's or etc.

Is there evidence saying it is definitly a Sega home console ? If so, quote it from a non mr sega blog.

Second thought, I'd rather my question about what is leading the market be answered than phantom console or broad patents.

First it's orbi is orbit/ringedge.

Then it''s sega will now be named orbi.

Now it's orbi is Sega new console.

This is false info until Sega announces something officially.

The RingEdge rumor of 2009 almost went somewhere because SEGA issued and filed patents in addition to launching new arcade hardware.

It ran out of gas because it turned out that SEGA had no plans for RE 1 hardware & had not YET renewed their First Party Hardware Licenses. That occurred later that year.

Its not a new console. Its a NEW company. Rather a new Wholly Owned Subsidarity that will own SEGA and Sammy. Like CSK.


The description is what they're planning on doing in Research & Development & what their investors are planning.

I think that if people would stop assuming that "Orbi" is a new console and read for themselves that its SEGA becoming a bigger company, they'd probably be more excited it is prospects.
