@Blehstor, as you can see in the very first post mrneo240 released his hard work in an *early state*, so that Dreamcast enthousiast like you and me can already experiment with it. As you can also see in its name it's an Alpha build, therefor its not finished nor polished on some levels.
But man even in its current form its an amazing feat and incredible frontend.

Yeah its cool, and i can see its in alpha and such. But im surprised that 2 features that were implemented many years ago, are nowhere to be found in this "updated" Menu. Its just odd to me, thats all.

I dont want to sound like a dick but.. this features are available in the 5 year old GDemu but not on OpenMenu
Why?
Because you haven't written them yet, feel free to submit a PR. It's open source and contributions are wonderful

I thought it was a matter of copy/pasting from GdMenu, excuse my ignorance
So OpenMenu is a totally different architecture, and there's no easy way to transfer "intro skip" and "VGA forced" options into OpenMenu ?

Sadly no code exists for GDMenu so openMenu is all new from the ground up. Research would need to be done to figure out how to correctly handle that. Thanks for understanding and trying the menu. I just recently have a desk again and I'll soon have time to resume work

Ohhh I didnt know that. Sorry.
The GDEMU hardware has been completely copied but the software is still not figured out, thats a shame
Should make the code open source since the last update was in 2016 or so..

hi,
Are Openmenu and GDEMU still updated and will have new release?
In particular i have the following issues with OpenMenu:
1) SORT by NAME doesn't properly work. I opened the issue log time ago but none updated the topic (
https://github.com/mrneo240/openmenu/issues/26)
2) Fist of the North Star: wrong cover and metadata. I opened the issue one year ago but it seems that none fixed it. (
https://github.com/mrneo240/openmenu/issues/25)
3) Missing covers. There are several missing covers, i prepared the covers to be added to GDMENU/Openmenu and i posted them into this topic:
https://github.com/mrneo240/openmenu/issues/23
Please, can anyone help me? In addition i want to add Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga collection. Is it possible to add it into the list with its covers and metadata?
thank you very much!

And is it possible to add the missing cover?
thank you

I'm not getting any menu when pressing the start button, have i messed up something? Everything else seems to be working fine.
- Seems to have been a mistake moving files - Menu is working as should
