New one - 8bitdo Ultimate 2.4g wired d-input.
seems no different from Pro 2, didn’t add new code, just added this PID to Pro 2
test it
usb4maple(22.05.24).7z
Yep, it's a Pro 2 in a different form factor:
2 changes:
Twin Stick mode:
U is D
D is U
on RS
(reversed)
FPS mode:
LB is U
RB is D
(reversed)
Doing both of these on both controllers (makes sense).
Everything else looks great!

Buttons all good.
No vibration ability detected. 240p TS doesn't show a JumpPack like it should.

Looks like 8bitdo doesn't support vibration in ANY of its controllers (that have motors) in d-input mode

, only x-input & Switch modes. Checked with gamepad-tester.com and the vibration field is greyed-out when the controller is in d-input mode.

Has anyone made an adapter that involved soldering a female USB to the test pads of a regular pi pico? I made two that way, but its behaving weirdly when I plug a 360 controller in.
I tried playing Quake 3 with the all analog mode enabled and every time I pulled the right trigger it disconnected and went back to whatever the top left mode is on the xbox 360 button. Sometimes it would get stuck turning.
In Tony Hawk, it kept saying it was disconnected and reconnected. I figured it was bad soldering at first, but both cables are behaving this way and I tested to make sure something wasnt shorting out. Really weird

your problem is more like a bad power supply, when vibration is turned on, the voltage drops significantly and the controller turns off

Yup, thats exactly it. I tested it with 3rd Strike, as soon as I turned the vibrate on in the menus the controller reset. I'll look into that. Thanks
