I've come to the conclusion 2 of the SD cards I was using to test are just crap. Im testing a couple of 64GB sandisks now, one with 32k clusters and the other with 64k clusters, on 2 different Dreamcasts with GDEmus.

I set them in attract mode by entering gameplay and losing, then the transition from title screen to attract mode will not freeze: both machines have been up for 1h now!

megavolt85 seems to have eliminated gameplay freezes :D

EDIT: nope, froze within 10m when I actually played. :( Maybe the SD cards are not faulty after all,

I have not tested on gdmeu only serial port..

This is also happening on emulators (Demul in my case), so it's definitely not that. It has to be something else.

Just again why would you use these on DEMUL when you can play the rom perfect native with that emulator.. Dreamcast emulators are not faithful to real hardware at all not even dma timing can stream 2 places at once which you cant on hardware..

Because I have no other choice until there's a CDI version available. It's the only way I can play these conversions on GDI form.

Yeah, true, I can play the untouched Atomiswave versions on Demul too, but then again, I wouldn't be playing the conversions but the originals. This is also a way to test and report possible errors/freezes that are actually happening.

Nothing has changed in the source base of the roms there native dreamcast code.. anyways you can play them like i showed with a sd card serial port reader for about $9 to $18 in gdi format.. no modding needed to your console

Seeing the Atomiswave conversions are definitely becoming a big thing, I suppose I'll consider that option if their CDI releases don't get pushed any further (they seem to be a little stalled as of now). But until then, I'm stuck with either CDIs or emulators.
